BENIN CITY, EDO STATE — Prominent development advocate and public affairs commentator, Solomon Okoduwa, has commended the administration of Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo for what he described as the visible transformation taking place across Edo State through the implementation of the government’s “Shine Agenda.”
Okoduwa, while assessing the growing impact of the administration, stated that the current level of development, administrative coordination, and political unity within Edo State reflects a government determined to deliver meaningful progress to the people while strengthening support for the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
According to Solomon Okoduwa, the strategic alignment between the Edo State Government and the Federal Government is already producing tangible results in governance, infrastructure, and grassroots political engagement across the state.
He noted that under the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, Edo State has witnessed renewed confidence in governance, with citizens increasingly identifying with policies and programmes aimed at improving public welfare and accelerating development.
Okoduwa particularly praised the role of Barr. Musa Umar Ikhilor, Secretary to the State Government, describing him as a stabilizing force within the administration whose administrative competence and legal expertise have strengthened institutional coordination and policy implementation.
He stated that Barr. Ikhilor’s methodical leadership style has helped ensure that government decisions are effectively translated into practical results across ministries, departments, and agencies.
In the same vein, Solomon Okoduwa applauded Ambassador Sylvester Aigbobo, Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, for sustaining grassroots mobilization and reinforcing party unity across the state.
According to him, Ambassador Aigbobo has continued to serve as a bridge between the party structure and the people, ensuring that the dividends of democracy are felt at the community level while strengthening public confidence in the APC-led administration.
Okoduwa maintained that the synergy between Governor Okpebholo, the SSG, and party leadership has become one of the strongest pillars driving the success of the Shine Agenda.
He further emphasized that the growing support for President Tinubu in Edo State is directly connected to the visible developmental strides currently being witnessed across various sectors.
“With the level of development and political stability presently being experienced in Edo State, the people are increasingly convinced that the partnership between the state and federal governments is yielding positive results,” Solomon Okoduwa stated.
He added that the administration’s achievements have created renewed political enthusiasm among party faithful and supporters, expressing confidence that Edo State would remain a strong support base for President Tinubu and the APC in future elections.
Solomon Okoduwa also commended Governor Okpebholo for demonstrating courage, vision, and purposeful leadership at a critical time in the state’s political and developmental journey.
According to him, the administration’s commitment to governance, unity, and service delivery has continued to redefine public perception of leadership in Edo State.
He stressed that when political leaders, administrators, and party stakeholders work together with a common purpose, governance becomes more effective and beneficial to the people.
As the Shine Agenda continues to gather momentum, Solomon Okoduwa said Edo State is steadily emerging as a model of coordinated governance, political stability, and development-driven leadership within Nigeria’s evolving democratic landscape.
