The Bossu Movement Worldwide has formally reaffirmed its legal standing, operational continuity, and institutional independence amid public discussions surrounding the resignation of its founder and president, Ambassador Bossu, from active partisan politics. In a public notice addressed to members and leaders across rural, national, and diaspora chapters, the movement confirmed that it has been officially trademarked and remains fully active, with its international banking structure successfully established through a domiciliary account system to support global operations.
The leadership clarified that Ambassador Bossu’s decision to step away from active politics has no bearing on the activities, direction, or legitimacy of the Bossu Movement, emphasizing that the organization predates his political involvement and has always maintained a distinct identity rooted in community development, welfare support, and collective empowerment. Founded in July 2015 with just 15 members, the movement has grown steadily over the past decade, guided by principles that prioritize unity, self-development, and mutual assistance above partisan alignment.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparent governance and institutional growth, the movement announced that all coordinators and logistics personnel will henceforth be placed on monthly wages or salaries, a measure aimed at strengthening accountability, professionalism, and sustained commitment within its operational framework. Members were urged to recognize that the organization is not centered on any single individual but functions through a collective leadership structure that empowers coordinators, grassroots leaders, and diaspora representatives to actively manage and advance its objectives.
Special attention was directed to rural leaders and members, who were encouraged to continue holding regular meetings and maintaining the culture of cooperation and support that has defined the movement since its inception. The leadership reiterated its long-standing position on personal choice, particularly regarding political participation and electoral matters, noting that individual freedom of decision remains respected except in instances where a collective agreement is formally reached.
The movement also dismissed as false any claims suggesting that it has been suspended or dissolved, describing such reports as misinformation intended to cause confusion among members, particularly within rural communities. Looking ahead, the Bossu Movement announced plans to mark its 11th anniversary in July 2026 with initiatives aimed at empowering vulnerable individuals and communities, reinforcing its humanitarian mission and people-centered agenda.
Concluding the notice, the leadership called on members worldwide to remain steadfast, support one another, and collaborate on programs that ensure timely assistance to those in need, reaffirming the movement’s vision of sustainable community development and shared responsibility beyond political boundaries.
