The Edo Central Committee Members of Arewa Bike Riders have reaffirmed their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the political aspirations of Senator Joseph Igiagbe Ikpea, while pledging continued support for the administration of Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The committee members made this known during a courtesy visit to ESV Tony Okonigene, Special Adviser to Senator Joseph Igiagbe Ikpea on Political Matters, at his country home in Irrua, where they engaged him on issues concerning their members, their contributions to the economic activities of Edo Central and the forthcoming 2027 elections.
Receiving the delegation, ESV Tony Okonigene thanked the Edo Central Committee Members of Arewa Bike Riders for the visit and commended their continued contributions to the economic activities of the senatorial district. He urged them to remain united, peaceful and law-abiding, while maintaining conduct that would continue to protect the good name and reputation of the Arewa Bike Riders community.
Okonigene also charged them to sustain their support for the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led administration, noting the transformation taking place across Edo State. He urged the committee members to translate their support into active participation in the 2027 elections by voting massively for all APC candidates, from President to Senate, House of Representatives and House of Assembly.
He further called for collective grassroots support towards the APC’s stated target of delivering 2.5 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing the importance of continued mobilisation and political participation across Edo Central.
Responding on behalf of the committee members, the delegation thanked ESV Tony Okonigene for the warm reception accorded them and commended the developmental strides of the Governor Okpebholo-led administration. They reaffirmed their continued support for Governor Okpebholo and the APC, assuring him of their readiness to mobilise their members and deliver their share of the votes for all APC candidates in Edo Central, from the Senate to the House of Representatives and State House of Assembly.
The engagement further strengthened the relationship between the APC political structure and the Edo Central Committee Members of Arewa Bike Riders, while underscoring the importance of grassroots engagement and collective participation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
