Under the leadership of Senator Monday Okpebholo, Edo State is living in a season that feels almost unreal—a moment of unfolding restoration where hope is no longer postponed but actively taking shape. What the Psalmist described as a sudden turning is now being experienced as a steady, purposeful transformation. The people are discovering, day by day, that this is not an illusion, but a new reality. Truly, we are like them that dream.

Direction is replacing drift. Purpose is overtaking uncertainty. Across communities, governance is becoming tangible—felt in policy decisions, seen in deliberate actions, and affirmed by growing public confidence. Edo State is not merely anticipating change; it is experiencing renewal in motion.

And just as the Scripture declares, “Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing,” the spirit of the people is rising. Conversations once shaped by caution are now infused with optimism. Civic engagement is strengthening, trust is being restored, and belief in the future is steadily returning. Hope is no longer whispered—it is being spoken aloud.

Beyond the borders of the state, attention is turning toward Edo. Observers are watching closely as progress continues to unfold. In fulfillment of the ancient words, “Then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them,” the acknowledgment is growing that something significant is happening here—something worthy of notice, respect, and commendation.

Indeed, great things are being done, not as isolated events, but as a continuing commitment to purposeful leadership and people-centered governance. Under Senator Monday Okpebholo’s administration, Edo State is walking through a defining season—one marked by intention, momentum, and renewed destiny.

This is the story still being written. A living testimony of restoration in progress. A moment where a people can confidently say: we are like them that dream—and we are awakening, together, to progress.
