The Quiz Team of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has recorded another remarkable feat by emerging as the 7th Best University at the 13th All Nigeria Universities Debate Championship, held at the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
The prestigious national academic competition brought together quiz and debate teams from more than 45 universities across Nigeria, providing a competitive platform for students to demonstrate intellectual capacity, critical thinking, research skills and effective communication.
The AAU Ekpoma team was presented with medals at the closing ceremony of the championship, marking a significant achievement for the institution and further highlighting the academic potential of its students on the national stage.
The performance has been widely regarded as a positive reflection of the commitment of the university community to academic excellence and the development of students beyond the traditional classroom environment.
The feat also comes at a time when the administration of Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has continued to place education among the key priorities of his administration, with renewed attention to strengthening the state’s educational institutions and creating an enabling environment for students and academic communities to thrive.
For Ambrose Alli University, the latest achievement represents more than a medal.
