Women in Action Group, Ididigba, Usugbenu, Esan Central Local Government Area, has declared its total support for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections in Edo Central Senatorial District.
The women reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Joseph Ikpea and Barrister Lucky Eseigbe emerge victorious in their respective polling units.
The declaration was made when the Special Adviser on Political Matters to Senator Joseph Ikpea, ESV Amb. Tony Okonigene, paid a courtesy visit to the women in Ididigba.
Addressing the women, Amb. Okonigene assured them that the APC candidates remained the best option for the completion of the Esan Agenda eight-year term, as represented by Governor Monday Okpebholo.
He told the women that voting against any APC candidate in the forthcoming election would amount to a great disservice to the Esan nation.
Amb. Okonigene also urged the women to advise their son contesting for the House of Representatives seat under an opposition party to reconsider his ambition, describing it as being against the political tide currently blowing across Edo Central Senatorial District.
