DCWCA Recognises Prince Miracle Ogbebor as Executive Director, Government Liaison Office

The Dwellers of Coastal and Waterways Communities of Africa (DCWCA) has formally recognised Hon. Prince Miracle Ogbebor as the organisation’s Executive Director, Government Liaison Office.

The recognition was conveyed in an official letter dated August 8, 2026, with reference number DCWCA/HR/022/2026, and issued following the approval of the leadership of the organisation.

According to the letter, Ogbebor’s recognition takes effect immediately after the forthcoming inauguration of the DCWCA leadership structure.

The organisation described the appointment as part of its efforts to strengthen its engagement with government institutions and enhance effective representation and advocacy for communities situated along coastal and waterways regions across Africa.

In his capacity as Executive Director, Government Liaison Office, Ogbebor is expected to uphold the vision, mission, constitution and core values of the DCWCA while promoting community development and maintaining constructive relationships between the organisation and relevant government authorities.

He is also expected to participate actively in the organisation’s meetings and programmes, protect the image and integrity of DCWCA, and diligently discharge the responsibilities attached to his office.

The recognition letter, signed by the Grand Patron of DCWCA, Hon. Tom T. Inko-Tariah, congratulated Ogbebor on his elevation and expressed confidence in his ability to contribute meaningfully to the organisation’s humanitarian and community-development objectives.

The Grand Patron further wished the newly recognised Executive Director wisdom, strength and success in the discharge of his responsibilities, particularly in advancing the organisation’s commitment to serving humanity and promoting the interests of coastal and waterways communities.

The DCWCA operates under the guiding philosophy, “Our Waters. Our People. Our Power,” reflecting its stated commitment to the advancement, protection and empowerment of communities whose livelihoods and social development are closely connected to coastal and waterways environments.

Ogbebor’s recognition is expected to further strengthen the organisation’s institutional engagement and provide an additional channel for constructive dialogue between DCWCA, government authorities and communities across its areas of operation.
