The timetable, issued from the party’s national headquarters at Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, details a sequence of activities beginning with the submission of the party register to INEC on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, followed by a formal letter to the electoral body on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, notifying it of planned party primaries.

According to the schedule, the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms is expected to commence immediately, with deadlines for submission and screening of aspirants staggered across various elective positions. Screening exercises will cover aspirants contesting seats in State Houses of Assembly, National Assembly, governorship positions, and the presidency.

The timetable further indicates that screening of appeals for State and National Assembly aspirants will take place prior to the conduct of governorship and presidential appeal reviews.

Primary elections are scheduled to hold in phases, beginning with the House of Representatives primaries, followed by Senate primaries, State House of Assembly primaries, governorship primaries, and culminating in the presidential primary election slated for Sunday, May 17, 2026. Subsequent appeal processes are scheduled to conclude by Saturday, May 30, 2026.

The party also outlined its approved financial structure for aspirants seeking elective positions. Expression of interest and nomination forms range from ₦1,000,000 to ₦50,000,000 depending on the office sought. Female aspirants are exempted from paying nomination fees and are required to pay only the expression of interest fee across all positions.

The release was signed by the National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Umar M. Bature, underscoring the party’s commitment to internal democratic procedures and adherence to established electoral frameworks ahead of the 2027 general elections.
