A prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo Central Senatorial District and former member of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Patrick Ikhariale, PhD, has called on the people of Esanland, party faithful, supporters and stakeholders across the five local government areas of Edo Central to turn out en masse for the forthcoming APC Edo Central Senatorial District Mega Rally scheduled to hold on Friday, June 26, 2026, in Uromi, the administrative headquarters of Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
Rt. Hon. Ikhariale, who represented Esan Central, Esan West and Igueben Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, described the gathering as a historic rally of unity, solidarity and appreciation for the achievements of the APC-led administration in Edo State.
According to him, the mega rally presents an opportunity for party members and supporters across the senatorial district to reaffirm their commitment to the ideals of the APC while demonstrating unwavering support for the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo.
He noted that the governor’s developmental initiatives and people-oriented policies have continued to attract widespread commendation from citizens across political divides, resulting in a growing influx of opposition members and supporters into the APC fold.
“The APC Edo Central Mega Rally is more than a political gathering; it is a celebration of unity, progress and collective commitment to the development of our people. It is an opportunity for us to come together as one family and demonstrate our support for the remarkable leadership being provided by Governor Monday Okpebholo,” he stated.
The APC chieftain further commended Governor Okpebholo for what he described as his unwavering dedication to infrastructure development, good governance, human capital advancement and inclusive leadership across Edo State.
He emphasized that the governor’s performance within a relatively short period in office has rekindled hope among the people and strengthened public confidence in the APC administration.
Rt. Hon. Ikhariale urged party faithful, youth groups, women organisations, community leaders and supporters throughout Edo Central Senatorial District to participate actively in the rally, stressing that a massive turnout would further reinforce the district’s commitment to the growth and stability of the APC.
He expressed confidence that the event would serve as a platform for strengthening party cohesion, fostering greater collaboration among stakeholders and consolidating support for the developmental vision of Governor Okpebholo.
