The Chairman of the Edo State Branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (Edo NMA), Dr Andrew Oseghale Eigbedion, has felicitated with the Chief Executive Officer of the Edo State Health Regulatory Agency (EDOHERMA), Dr Adesuwa Urhoghide, on the occasion of her birthday.
Dr Eigbedion paid a courtesy visit to the EDOHERMA helmswoman to celebrate her special day, conveying the warm wishes of the Edo NMA and reaffirming the Association’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Agency in advancing healthcare standards across the state.
He emphasised the importance of sustained partnership in the fight against medical quackery, while promoting professionalism, ethical conduct and adherence to regulatory standards among healthcare practitioners and private healthcare facilities in Edo State.
As part of the birthday gesture, the Edo NMA Chairman presented Dr Urhoghide with a commemorative birthday picture gift on behalf of the Association.
Dr Eigbedion also congratulated her on the remarkable academic achievement of her daughter, who recently graduated with First Class Honours in Electrical Engineering, describing the accomplishment as a source of pride and celebration.
In her response, an elated Dr Urhoghide expressed appreciation to the Edo NMA Chairman and the Association for the thoughtful visit and goodwill gesture. She pledged to continue working closely with the leadership of the Edo NMA towards advancing the core mandates of EDOHERMA and strengthening regulatory collaboration for improved healthcare delivery across Edo State.
The visit concluded with a convivial photo session between the Edo NMA Chairman and the EDOHERMA Chief Executive Officer, marking a celebration centred on goodwill, professional partnership and a shared commitment to better healthcare standards.
