Esan South East Women, Youths Celebrate Adaze Aguele-Kalu on Edo APC Campaign Council Appointment

The women and youths of Esan South East have warmly congratulated Hon. Mrs. Adaze Aguele-Kalu on her appointment as Assistant Director, Finance Committee, of the Edo State All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council for the 2026/2027 elections.

In a congratulatory message, the women and youths described the appointment as a significant recognition of Hon. Aguele-Kalu’s commitment, capacity and contributions to the growth of the party, expressing confidence that she would bring her experience, dedication and organisational strength to bear in her new responsibility.

They said her emergence in the campaign council was not only a source of pride to her immediate constituency but also a moment of celebration for the women and youths of Esan South East, who expressed delight that one of their own had been entrusted with a strategic responsibility within the state campaign structure.

According to them, the appointment represents a call to greater service and an opportunity for Hon. Aguele-Kalu to further demonstrate the qualities that have continued to distinguish her in political and community engagements.

Hon. Aguele-Kalu’s appointment is contained in the campaign council recently constituted by the Edo State APC ahead of the 2026/2027 presidential, National Assembly and State House of Assembly elections.

The campaign council is chaired by Governor Monday Okpebholo, with former Governor Senator Adams Oshiomhole and Edo APC Chairman Emperor Jarrett Tenebe serving as Co-Chairmen, while former Senator Matthew Urhoghide was appointed Director-General.

Within the Finance Committee, Hon. Amb. Sylvester Aigboboh serves as Director, Louis Osobase as Deputy Director, while Yekini Idiaye and Hon. Mrs. Adaze Aguele-Kalu serve as Assistant Directors, with Finance Commissioner Emmanuel Okoebor as Secretary.

For the women and youths of Esan South East, however, the moment is particularly significant as they celebrate Hon. Aguele-Kalu’s elevation and look forward to her making a strong contribution to the campaign council in the assignment entrusted to her.
