High Chief Dr Francis Inegbeniki, a prominent politician and businessman from Edo State, has been conferred with the traditional title of Wakilin Sarkin Lau in Lau Local Government Area, in recognition of his humanitarian services and contributions to community development.
The honour was bestowed on the Edo Central-born political figure by the traditional institution in Lau District as acknowledgement of his commitment to societal advancement, philanthropy, and support for humanity.
High Chief Dr. Inegbeniki, who also holds the revered traditional title of Uzoya of Esan Land, is a notable chieftain of Pan Niger Delta Development Forum.
Speaking after receiving the honour, High Chief Dr. Inegbeniki expressed appreciation to the Sarkin of Lau District and the people of the area for the recognition, describing the conferment as a motivation to further dedicate himself to humanitarian service and community development.
He pledged continued support for the human and infrastructural development of the district, while emphasizing the importance of unity, service, and collective progress in nation-building.
