UBIAJA, EDO STATE — In a renewed demonstration of his passion for grassroots development and educational advancement, Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamiojie, through the Dr. Ernest Ahamiojie Project Initiatives, has extended the distribution of exercise books, notebooks and other essential learning materials to pupils and students in selected schools across Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State.
The latest phase of the educational outreach took the team to St. Benedict Basic Primary School, Ubiaja, and Ubiaja Community Primary and Secondary School, where pupils and students received learning materials aimed at supporting their academic activities and easing some of the challenges associated with accessing basic educational resources.
The initiative, which reflects Dr. Ahamioje’sustained commitment to investing in the future of young people, also underscores the importance of community-driven interventions in strengthening education at the grassroots.
Addressing the pupils and students on behalf of Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioie, Prince Miracle Ogbebor Director general encouraged them to take their education seriously, remain disciplined and dedicated to their studies, and make the best use of the materials provided to improve their academic performance.
He reminded them that education remains a powerful instrument for personal growth, self-reliance and meaningful contributions to society, urging them to remain focused on their academic goals and respect their teachers.
The outreach forms part of the broader commitment of the Dr. Ernest Ahamiojie Project Initiatives to complement efforts aimed at improving educational opportunities for children in local communities. By taking practical support directly to schools, the initiative demonstrates a grassroots philosophy that recognises the needs of ordinary families and the importance of creating opportunities for the next generation.
The students, visibly appreciative of the gesture, expressed gratitude to Dr. Ahamiojie and his team for remembering them and investing in their educational journey. They offered heartfelt prayers for the donor, asking God to bless him, strengthen his team and reward his generosity.
Beyond the distribution of learning materials, the intervention represents a message of hope to pupils and students whose ambitions deserve encouragement and support. It reinforces the belief that meaningful development begins when individuals and community-minded leaders invest in the potential of young people.
As the educational outreach continues across Esan South East, Dr. Ahamiojie’s initiative stands as a practical expression of grassroots compassion, demonstrating that supporting education is not merely an act of charity but an investment in the future of Esanland.
Through initiatives of this nature, Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamiojie continues to demonstrate the value of community engagement, educational support and people-centred development, while supporting broader efforts to improve the welfare and opportunities available to the people at the grassroots.
