High Chief Dr. Leemon Agbonjagwe Ikpea, CON, Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Late Augustus Akhabue Aikhomu Foundation (LAAAF), has felicitated with the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the occasion of his 56th birthday, describing the milestone as a celebration of leadership, service and renewed commitment to the development of Edo State.

In a goodwill message personally signed by High Chief Dr. Leemon Agbonjagwe Ikpea, CON, and made available to newsmen by the General Secretary of LAAAF, ESV Ambassador Tony Okonigene, the foundation’s Chairman extended warm congratulations to Governor Okpebholo on behalf of the Board of Trustees, members and executive of the Late Augustus Akhabue Aikhomu Foundation.

High Chief Ikpea commended the governor for his dedication to public service and his determination to advance the interests and wellbeing of the people of Edo State.

He noted that Governor Okpebholo’s 56th birthday offered an opportunity not only to celebrate his personal milestone but also to acknowledge his contributions to the growth and development of the state since assuming office.

The LAAAF Chairman expressed confidence in the governor’s capacity to continue providing purposeful leadership and implementing programmes and policies aimed at improving infrastructure, strengthening the economy, enhancing social development and creating greater opportunities for Edo people.

According to him, effective leadership requires courage, vision, humility and an unwavering commitment to the people, qualities he said Governor Okpebholo must continue to demonstrate in the discharge of his responsibilities as the chief executive of Edo State.

High Chief Ikpea further urged the governor to remain focused on his development agenda and to continue pursuing initiatives that will leave enduring legacies for present and future generations of Edo people.

He prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, sound health and strength for Governor Okpebholo, wishing him many more years of impactful service to Edo State and Nigeria.

The Late Augustus Akhabue Aikhomu Foundation joined the people of Edo State, political leaders, traditional rulers, community leaders and well-wishers across the state and beyond in celebrating the governor on his 56th birthday anniversary.

The foundation also reaffirmed its commitment to the ideals of service, patriotism, human development and community advancement associated with the legacy of the late Admiral Augustus Akhabue Aikhomu, GCON
