The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Late Augustus Akhabue Aikhomu Foundation (LAAAF), Chief Dr. Leemon Ikpea, CON, FNSE, has, on behalf of members of the Board of Trustees, extended warm birthday felicitations to the Foundation’s Treasurer, Mrs. Vinitha Nimmyel (Nee Aikhomu), as she marks another remarkable year of life.
In a goodwill message personally signed by the Chairman and made available to journalists through the Secretary of the Foundation, ESV. Amb. Tony Okonigene, Chief Ikpea described Mrs. Nimmyel as a woman of exceptional character, uncommon grace, and unwavering dedication whose commitment to the ideals of the Foundation has continued to enrich its mission and strengthen its impact.
He noted that Mrs. Nimmyel has distinguished herself through her integrity, diligence, humility, and passion for service, adding that her invaluable contributions as Treasurer have been instrumental in promoting transparency, accountability, and the effective pursuit of the Foundation’s humanitarian and developmental objectives.
Chief Ikpea further praised her for upholding the enduring legacy and values of the late Vice Admiral Augustus Akhabue Aikhomu with dignity and devotion, describing her as an inspiration to women, young professionals, and all those privileged to work alongside her.
According to him, her calm disposition, wisdom, and compassionate nature have earned her the admiration and respect of colleagues, associates, and members of the Foundation.
