TOOF Congratulates Gov Okpebholo, Tenebe, On Edo LG Poll Outcome

The Omoarebu Ogbeide Foundation (TOOF) has congratulated Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, on the outcome of the recently concluded local government elections across the state’s 18 local government areas.

In a goodwill message signed by its Founder and Chairman, High Chief Godfrey Omoarebu Ogbeide, MBA, MSBA, the foundation described the outcome as a reflection of the leadership and commitment of Governor Okpebholo and the APC leadership in the state.

The foundation expressed confidence that the electoral victory would further strengthen the administration’s resolve to deliver good governance, promote inclusive development and improve the welfare of Edo people.

Ogbeide also congratulated the 18 newly elected local government chairmen and councillors-elect on their victories, urging them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the electorate through transparent, people-oriented and accountable leadership.

“I also want to congratulate the 18 local government chairmen and their councillors-elect on their well-deserved victories. I encourage them to see their election as a call to selfless service and to work diligently for the development of their respective councils,” he said.

The foundation further wished Governor Okpebholo and Emperor Tenebe wisdom, strength and continued dedication in the service of the state, while praying for lasting peace, stability and prosperity across Edo.

Ogbeide, who holds the traditional title of Aigbugbakheini I of Ozalla Kingdom, expressed optimism that the outcome of the elections would provide a solid foundation for greater progress and development in Edo State.
