In a renewed demonstration of his commitment to grassroots economic empowerment, the member representing Esan North East/Esan South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Prince Henry Odianosen Okojie, has provided cash grants to small business owners across the constituency to support enterprise growth and improve livelihoods.

The initiative, designed to strengthen local businesses and cushion the impact of prevailing economic challenges, provided financial support to selected entrepreneurs to enable them expand their operations, increase productivity, and contribute more meaningfully to the local economy.

The grants were presented on behalf of the federal lawmaker by his representatives, Mrs. Ruth Akhigbe, Madam Gina Okoduwa, and Madam Joan Esele, who reaffirmed Hon. Okojie’s commitment to people-centred representation and sustainable community development.

A total of eight female entrepreneurs benefitted from the empowerment programme, with each recipient receiving financial assistance based on the needs of her business.

Speaking after receiving the grants, the beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Okojie for the timely intervention, describing the support as a significant boost to their businesses at a period when many small-scale entrepreneurs are grappling with economic pressures.

They pledged to put the funds to productive use in expanding their enterprises and creating greater economic value within their communities.
