CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE NEWLY ELECTED LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMEN, VICE CHAIRMEN AND COUNCILLORS OF EDO CENTRAL AND EDO STATE AT LARGE

With a heart full of joy and a golden heart of gratitude, I, Hon. Senator Ogiagbe Joe Ikpea, representing the good people of Edo Central Senatorial District, use this medium to send my warmest congratulations to the five Local Government newly elected Executive Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, and their Councilors in Edo Central, and indeed to all victorious Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Councilors across Edo State at large.

Your victory at the polls is not an accident. It is the clear voice of the people. It is a loud endorsement of trust, competence, and the people’s belief in your capacity to deliver. To have emerged through a credible process and to have been embraced by your communities speaks volumes about the goodwill you carry.

This landslide victory has once again proven that the All Progressives Congress, APC, is a political party whose spectrum of winning goes beyond measure. APC is a party of greatness, a party that is reliable, trustworthy, and deeply rooted in the people. From the grassroots to the top, APC continues to set the standard for purposeful leadership and people-oriented governance.

I must specially commend the Executive Governor of Edo State for his fatherly leadership, strategic direction, and limitless support that made this sweeping victory possible. Your commitment to grassroots development and internal democracy has strengthened our party and given our people hope.

To our newly elected Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Councilors: this mandate is sacred. The people have handed you the duty to serve before self. Go to your LGAs and build bridges of hope. Strengthen security networks to curb every abnormal stand and promote tranquility in our communities. Invest in the health sector so no mother or child is left behind. Expand access to quality education. Fix our roads and deliver other social amenities that touch daily lives. Let your tenure be remembered for impact, not noise.

My prayer is for more breakthroughs for Edo State. May peace reign in every community, may development be rapid, and may the partnership between the State Government, the National Assembly, and the Local Governments produce results that the people will feel.

Once again, congratulations. Edo Central is proud of you. Edo State is proud of you. The future is bright because APC is in charge.
