Former Commissioner for Finance and member of the Presidential Taskforce on Petroleum Resources, Hon. Mrs. Adaze Uzor-Kalu, has congratulated candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their impressive performance in the Edo State Local Government Elections, describing the outcome as a strong affirmation of the party’s growing acceptance across the state.
Reacting to the election results, Hon. Adaze celebrated the APC’s sweeping victory across Units 1 to 19 in Ewohimi Ward 1, describing the outcome as a clear reflection of the confidence and trust the people have in the party and its leadership.
She said the overwhelming support received by the APC at the polls underscores the positive impact of the developmental initiatives being implemented by Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo under his SHINE Agenda, noting that the administration’s commitment to good governance and grassroots development continues to earn the admiration and support of Edo people.
Hon. Adaze congratulated the party’s chairmanship, vice-chairmanship and councillorship candidates on their well-deserved victory and urged them to remain focused on delivering effective, transparent and people-centred governance at the grassroots.
She also commended party leaders, stakeholders, campaign coordinators, members and supporters for their unity, dedication and tireless efforts before and during the election, noting that their commitment played a significant role in the APC’s outstanding performance.
According to her, the victory is not only a celebration of electoral success but also a renewed mandate for the APC to deepen development, strengthen democratic governance and sustain the progress being recorded across Edo State under the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo.
She called on residents to continue supporting the APC-led administration as it works to expand development, improve public services and build a more prosperous future for communities across the state.
