Former two-term member of the House of Representatives, Patrick Ikhariale, has called on leaders, stakeholders, party faithfuls and supporters of the All Progressives Congress across Edo Central Senatorial District to come out en masse and vote massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in today’s presidential primary election.
Ikhariale, a respected chieftain of the APC and influential political figure in Edo Central, said the overwhelming support for President Tinubu would serve as a strong validation of the endorsement already extended to the President by party stakeholders and loyalists across the country.
The former federal lawmaker described President Tinubu as a courageous and visionary leader whose administration has continued to demonstrate commitment towards national development, economic reforms and democratic consolidation.
According to him, the President’s leadership style, political experience and determination to reposition Nigeria for sustainable growth have earned him the confidence and trust of progressive-minded Nigerians.
He urged APC members to remain united and committed to the collective aspirations of the party, stressing that the presidential primary offers members an important opportunity to further strengthen the party’s internal cohesion and reaffirm confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu.
Ikhariale noted that the achievements recorded under the current administration, alongside ongoing reforms in critical sectors of the economy, have continued to inspire hope among Nigerians despite prevailing national challenges.
He further emphasized that President Tinubu possesses the political capacity, administrative competence and national appeal required to sustain the country’s democratic journey and developmental agenda.
The APC leader also appealed to party supporters across Edo Central and beyond to conduct themselves peacefully and responsibly throughout the exercise, while maintaining the spirit of unity, loyalty and discipline that defines the progressive family.
He expressed optimism that the outcome of the primary would further consolidate the strength of the APC ahead of future political engagements, while reinforcing the confidence of Nigerians in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling party.
