The Director of Strategic Communication and Research as well as National Spokesperson of the Take Action Campaign Organization, Osehilase Uduebor, has commended the Presidency and the Nigerian Armed Forces over the successful joint counterterrorism operation carried out in collaboration with the United States Armed Forces, which reportedly led to the elimination of notorious ISIS commander, Abu-Bilal Al-Manuki, also known as Abu-Mainok, in the Lake Chad Basin.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Uduebor described the operation as a “major strategic victory” in Nigeria’s ongoing war against terrorism, insurgency, and violent extremism threatening national stability and regional security.
According to him, the successful operation demonstrates the growing operational capacity, intelligence coordination, and international credibility of Nigeria’s security architecture under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He noted that the decisive strike against the ISIS hierarchy sends a clear message to criminal and terrorist networks that Nigeria remains resolute and uncompromising in defending its territorial integrity and protecting innocent citizens from acts of terror.
Uduebor further praised the collaborative efforts between Nigeria and the United States, describing the security partnership as a significant milestone in global counterterrorism cooperation.
“The successful neutralization of Abu-Bilal Al-Manuki and his fighters is not only a victory for Nigeria, but also a major boost for international peace and regional stability across West Africa and the Lake Chad region. It reflects the effectiveness of strategic intelligence sharing and coordinated military operations between allied nations,” he stated.
The Take Action Campaign Organization spokesperson equally expressed appreciation to President Donald Trump for the support and cooperation of the United States government in strengthening counterterrorism efforts alongside Nigeria.
He emphasized that the administration of President Tinubu has continued to demonstrate commitment, political will, and strategic leadership in confronting insecurity across various parts of the country.
The Take Action Campaign Organization reaffirmed its continued support for the reelection of President Tinubu in 2027, stressing that sustained security reforms, strategic international partnerships, and coordinated governance remain critical to achieving lasting peace and national development.
The organization further urged Nigerians to continue supporting the Armed Forces and other security agencies through intelligence sharing, patriotism, and collective vigilance in the fight against terrorism and organized crime.
