The meeting focused on strengthening party cohesion, protecting the voting strength of the APC in Igueben, and sustaining support for the administration of Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo.

Addressing party faithful at the gathering, former two-term Chairman of Igueben Local Government, Chief Felix Imiosili, emphasized that the success of the party depends largely on unity, commitment, and collective responsibility among members.

According to him, party leaders and stakeholders must return to their various wards and communities to intensify grassroots engagement and reconciliation efforts aimed at bringing every member back into the fold.

He noted that elections are won through organization, loyalty, and hard work, adding that internal division and misunderstandings must not be allowed to weaken the party’s structure ahead of the 2027 polls.

Chief Imiosili further appealed to aggrieved members to embrace peace, forgive past grievances, and work together as one political family for the overall progress of the APC in Igueben and Edo State at large.

Other speakers at the meeting, including Ward 7 Chairman, Gabriel Osagie, alongside several party elders and stakeholders, echoed similar sentiments, calling on members to remain steadfast and united in support of the party.

The stakeholders also reiterated their continued support for Governor Okpebholo, whom they described as a leader making Esanland and Edo State proud through purposeful governance and developmental initiatives.

They maintained that sustained unity within the APC remains critical to consolidating the party’s strength and securing victory in future elections.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by party leaders and members to continue mobilization efforts across wards and communities while promoting peace, reconciliation, and cooperation among all stakeholders.
