Okonigene Celebrates Ikpea at One Year, Reaffirms Support for Re-Election

EDO CENTRAL, EDO STATE — ESV Ambassador Tony Okonigene, Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District, Senator Joseph Igiagbe Ikpea, has congratulated the Senator on the completion of his first year in office, describing the milestone as a reflection of purposeful representation, effective leadership and renewed commitment to the people of Edo Central.

In a congratulatory message, Okonigene commended Senator Ikpea for bringing experience, capacity and commitment to his legislative responsibilities, noting that his leadership has been characterised by accessibility, consultation and a strong connection with the grassroots. He said the Senator has demonstrated a clear understanding of the needs of the senatorial district through legislative advocacy, constituency engagement, empowerment initiatives, support for vulnerable citizens and efforts to attract federal attention to critical development needs, including road infrastructure.

According to Okonigene, Senator Ikpea’s leadership style has distinguished him as a representative who understands that public office is fundamentally about service, responsibility and delivering meaningful value to the people.
