The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Edo State Chapter, has paid a courtesy visit to the Esama of Benin and Honorary Romanian Consul to Edo and Delta States, Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, to felicitate with him on his recent birthday.
The delegation, led by the NMA Edo State Chairman, Dr. Andrew Egbedion, visited the renowned elder statesman one week after his birthday celebration to convey the association’s warm greetings and goodwill.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the NMA leadership to acknowledge Sir Chief Dr. Igbinedion’s longstanding contributions to the development of Edo State and Nigeria, particularly in education, healthcare, philanthropy and human capital development.
Dr. Egbedion and members of the delegation expressed appreciation for the Esama’s enduring commitment to the advancement of society and his contributions to the welfare and development of the people.
The NMA Edo State Chapter wished Sir Chief Dr. Igbinedion continued good health, strength and wisdom, while praying for many more years of impactful service to humanity.
Sir Chief Dr. Igbinedion, in response, expressed appreciation to the NMA delegation for the thoughtful gesture and commended the association for its continued commitment to improving healthcare delivery and the welfare of medical professionals in Edo State.
