D.G., COMMUNITY LEADERS, SUPPORTERS HAIL DR. ERNEST IYERE AHAMIOJE’S PHILANTHROPIC IMPACT IN ESAN SOUTH EAST

UBIAJA, EDO STATE — June 13, 2026

The Director General of the Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioje Political Organisation, Hon. Prince Miracle Ogbebor, alongside community leaders and supporters, has commended the sustained humanitarian interventions of Hon. Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioje, describing his contributions to the development and welfare of the people as a remarkable demonstration of service-driven leadership.

Speaking during the disbursement of a ₦700,000 support fund to members of the We Move movement and the Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioje Project Initiatives in Ubiaja on Friday, Ogbebor said Dr. Ahamioje has continued to distinguish himself through his commitment to improving lives across Esan South East Local Government Area.

According to him, the intervention forms part of a broader ₦3.5 million support package announced by Dr. Ahamioje in June to provide assistance to loyal supporters, bereaved families, and educational initiatives within the constituency.

He noted that the initiative reflects a leadership philosophy centered on service, compassion, and community development.

Beneficiaries of the support fund expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful. Members of the We Move movement and project coordinators said the intervention demonstrated Dr. Ahamioje’s continued commitment to those who have contributed to the growth of the movement.

Supporters also praised his recent ₦300,000 bereavement support to the family of the late Ward 8 Chairman, as well as his contribution towards burial arrangements, describing the gesture as a demonstration of empathy and solidarity during a difficult period.

Community members further highlighted Dr. Ahamioje’s investment of ₦500,000 in educational materials for pupils across Esan South East, noting that the initiative would contribute significantly to learning and academic development among school children.

Religious and community leaders at the event also acknowledged his ongoing interventions in healthcare support for elderly residents, provision of medications, and assistance to widows and vulnerable persons within the local government area.

Speaking on behalf of community stakeholders, Pastor Philip described Dr. Ahamioje as a leader whose actions reflect a genuine commitment to public service and community advancement.

The event concluded with prayers for Dr. Ahamioje’s safe return to the United States and for continued success in his future endeavours.

Meanwhile, the Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioje Project Initiatives announced that the second phase of the ₦3.5 million support programme, comprising ₦2 million worth of materials and other in-kind assistance, is scheduled to commence following the Edo State Youth Summit.

The initiative has continued to attract commendation from beneficiaries and community stakeholders who view it as a positive contribution to social welfare, education, and grassroots development in Esan South East.
