I write to formally convey the gracious approval of Distinguished Senator Ikpea Joseph Igiagbe regarding key appointments aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement and fostering inclusive representation across the Edo Central Senatorial District.
In furtherance of his steadfast commitment to participatory governance and effective leadership, the Distinguished Senator has approved the appointments of the following:
• Five (5) Local Government Area (LGA) Women Leaders as Special Assistants on Women Affairs
• Five (5) Local Government Area (LGA) Youth Leaders as Special Assistants on Youth Affairs
• Fifty-One (51) Ward Women Leaders as Special Assistants on Women’s Affairs
• Fifty-One (51) Ward Youth Leaders as Special Assistants on Youth Affairs
These appointments are strategically spread across all Local Government Areas and Wards within Edo Central Senatorial District to ensure broad-based representation, deepen community engagement, and promote responsive governance at all levels.
The appointments take effect immediately.
Distinguished Senator Ikpea Joseph Igiagbe reiterates that this initiative is part of his broader vision to empower constituents- particularly women and youth, who remain critical drivers of socio-political development within the district.
