The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Late Augustus Akhabue Akhomu Foundation (LAAF), Chief Dr. Leemon Agbonjagwe Ikpea, CON, has extended warm birthday felicitations to Professor Reuben Agbons Eifediyi, Chief Medical Director of Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Irrua, in celebration of his birthday anniversary on March 5, 2026.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of members of the Board of Trustees, Chief Ikpea described Professor Eifediyi as an exceptional medical professional, distinguished administrator, and dedicated public servant whose contributions to healthcare delivery and medical advancement in Nigeria continue to inspire admiration across professional and institutional circles.
The foundation noted that Professor Eifediyi’s tenure as Chief Medical Director has been marked by remarkable strides in strengthening healthcare services, expanding medical research, and improving clinical excellence at the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital. Under his leadership, the institution has continued to build a reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading centers for specialized medical care, particularly in infectious disease management and public health interventions.
