In furtherance of his commitment to responsive governance and sustainable grassroots development, the Honourable Member representing Esan Central Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sunday Fada Eigbiremonlen, will commission a series of completed constituency development projects across communities in Esan Central.
The commissioning exercise reflects purposeful legislative intervention aimed at improving access to quality education, enhancing teacher welfare, expanding rural electrification, and strengthening local economic activities. The projects slated for commissioning include the Udowo Electrification Extension Project; a block of three classrooms with staff office and furnishings at Ikekato Junior Secondary School, Irrua; staff quarters at Afuda Primary School, Uwessan; a block of six classrooms with staff quarters and furnishings at Idunwele Primary School, Ewu; open and lock-up stores at Idinegbon Market, Eidenu, Irrua; and a block of three classrooms with staff office and furnishings at Usenu Primary School, Usenu, Irrua.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 4th February, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. prompt, under the distinguished chairmanship of the APC Edo Central Senatorial Leader, General Cecil Esekhaigbe (Rtd.). Activities for the day will follow a scheduled movement across project locations, commencing at Usenu Primary School, Usenu Irrua by 10:00 a.m., proceeding to Idunwele Primary School, Ewu at 11:00 a.m., moving to Idinegbon Market Square, Eidenu Irrua at 12:00 noon, continuing at Ikekato Junior Secondary School alongside the Udowo Electrification Project at 1:00 p.m., and concluding at Afuda Primary School, Uwessan by 2:00 p.m.
These completed projects underscore Hon. Eigbiremonlen’s resolve to translate legislative representation into tangible benefits for constituents through the provision of conducive learning environments, improved accommodation for teachers, enhanced rural infrastructure, and revitalised community commerce.
