Eseigbe Solidarity Movement Commends Edo State Government on Proactive Security Measures
The Eseigbe Solidarity Movement wishes to sincerely appreciate the Edo State Government for its timely and proactive response to the prevailing security challenges in Ekpoma and other parts of Esanland. At a time when safety of lives and property remains a major concern, the government’s resolve to strengthen the state’s security architecture is both reassuring and commendable.
Of particular note is the introduction of community policing and enhanced intelligence-gathering mechanisms, which place the people at the center of security management. The engagement of organized Hunters’ groups into the broader security framework further demonstrates a practical understanding of local terrain and grassroots security dynamics. This inclusive approach, coupled with the active involvement of traditional institutions, reinforces community ownership and collective responsibility in the fight against insecurity.
The provision for payment of allowances to Edo State security operatives is another strategic step that will boost morale, enhance commitment, and improve efficiency among those tasked with safeguarding our communities. When security personnel are motivated, the outcome is a more responsive and effective security system.
Furthermore, the procurement and deployment of surveillance vehicles by His Excellency will significantly strengthen monitoring, rapid response, and crime prevention across Esanland and Edo State at large. The full implementation of these well-articulated policy directions will undoubtedly have a positive and lasting impact on the protection of lives and property.
The Eseigbe Solidarity Movement encourages citizens to complement these efforts by remaining vigilant and cooperative with security agencies. Indeed, security is a collective responsibility, if you see something, say something. Together, we can build a safer and more secure Edo State for all.
