The Secretary of the Media and Publicity Committee of the Esan Central Local Government Election Campaign Council, Kingsley Ohens of Urbanscoop News/Magazine, has expressed profound appreciation to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Esan Central Local Government Area for the confidence reposed in him through his appointment to serve in the campaign council.
In a statement released at the conclusion of the ward-to-ward campaign activities across the ten wards of the local government area, Ohens described his appointment as both an honour and a privilege, pledging his continued commitment to the ideals and aspirations of the party.
He particularly extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman of the Esan Central Local Government Election Campaign Council, Hon. Theophilus Osegba, for providing an enabling environment that allowed members of the Media and Publicity Committee to effectively discharge their responsibilities throughout the campaign period.
According to him, the remarkable success recorded during the grassroots mobilisation exercise was largely attributable to the visionary leadership, coordination, and support provided by the campaign council chairman.
Ohens also conveyed special appreciation to the APC Apex Leader in Esan Central Local Government Area, Prince Williams Shaka Momodu, whom he described as a father figure whose invaluable advice, unwavering encouragement, and consistent support greatly inspired the media team and contributed significantly to the success of the campaign activities.
He further acknowledged the leadership qualities and dedication of the Chairman of the APC in Esan Central Local Government Area, Hon. Rawlings Ekeoba (popularly known as Oskede), commending his steadfast guidance, commitment, and love for the party and its members.
The media secretary equally paid glowing tribute to the leader of the party in Edo State and Governor of the state, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, applauding his developmental strides and people-oriented governance initiatives, which he noted greatly enhanced the party’s acceptance and made the ward-to-ward campaign efforts more impactful and effective.
“The visible developmental projects and transformational leadership being provided by His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, significantly strengthened our campaign message and reinforced the confidence of the people in the APC,” he stated.
While expressing appreciation to party leaders, faithfuls, supporters, and stakeholders across Wards 1 to 10 for their overwhelming support and participation throughout the campaign exercise, Ohens called on all APC members and supporters to turn out en masse for the grand finale of the campaign.
He reminded party faithfuls that the grand finale of the Esan Central Local Government Election Campaign is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Okaijesan Hall, beginning at 12:00 noon prompt, urging all members to sustain the spirit of unity, loyalty, and commitment that has characterized the campaign activities.
He expressed optimism that the party’s collective efforts, grassroots mobilisation, and unity of purpose would culminate in a resounding victory for the APC in the forthcoming local government elections.
