A Benin based youth leader, Kelvin Omoruyi has expressed optimism that respite has come the way of youths and many others in Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State with the emergence of Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa as Deputy Governor of Edo State.
Omoruyi who described Hon. Idahosa as a man of the people, said he is a beacon of hope for the ovia youths.
Hon. Amadin Enabulele on the other hand, according to Omoruyi, “a committed youth influencer and dedicated community engagement enthusiast.
Governor Okpebholo recently appointed Enabulele as the Chairman of Edo State Sports Commission.
He maintained that Idahosa’s election as Deputy Governor together with his boss, the governor of Edo State was well-deserved.
According to Omoruyi, “Hon. Idahosa is a grassroot politician. He has empowered many youths to be self-employed and as the CEO of Eagle Denco Company Limited with interest in construction, Mining and Real Estate, provided employment to several youths.”
“With a Master Degrees in Legislative Studies, Hon. Dannis Idahosa served meritoriously as a House of Reps member including being Chairman of the House Committee on Legislative Compliance, Chairman, House Committee on Healthcare Services.
He continued, “Idahosa was one of the youngest lawmakers in the House of Representatives, and had also served as Edo State Commissioner of Investments and Public-Private Partnerships. He became the youngest commissioner in Edo State under the then Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.”
“Idahosa once took a stand against the oppression and extortion in checkpoints at Ekiadolor near Benin by uniform men. The Deputy governor’s act of kindness is unequal and constantly on the lips of many. Now that he has become deputy governor, we know, he will do more for us.”
“He is very keen to help the APC led government in Edo State succeeds. He has already keyed into the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, He stated.
“Enabulele recently said on the sideline of an event in Benin City, “We have a lot of work to do and our primary concern is how to take Edo State Sports development to the next level. Work starts now. We have gone round to see what is on the ground and there is a lot to be done in terms of maintenance and standards”
Omoruyi noted, “He is already charged-up to make a huge impact during the next National Sports Festival; the 22nd edition of the festival is to be held in Ogun State in 2025.
Rt. Hon. Idahosa and Hon. Enabulele will undoubtedly make us proud in Ovia,” he concluded.
