With All The Hullabaloo from The APC, The Worst Of The PDP Is Better Than The Best Of The APC

Nigerians are still suffering from the mistake they made in 2015 by handing over the country to the APC. After orchestrated devilish campaigns laced with lies and fake promises, Nigerians pushed out the President Goodluck Jonathan PDP led Federal Government and ushered in a President Mohammadu Buhari led APC government. Since then, the country has known no peace.

Hunger, deaths, kidnappings, nepotism, high level looting, etc have become the order of the day. The promises made by the APC were thrown into the trash bins of campaigns. The APC has not been able to maintain the electoral reforms that made it possible for an opposition party to take over from a ruling party.

It goes without saying that Nigeria has been taken 50 years backwards by the APC. The method deployed by the APC was that of lies, propaganda, blackmail, violence and religious/tribe divide. Most Nigerians were so taken up and erroneously believed their lies to bring about a change that they never paused to ask the APC how they intended to bring the change. So they threw away a scholar President and replaced him with a herdsman who was shielded from facing debates so that the people could not rightly access him. The result is the current disaster we are in as a country.

As the Edo Governorship elections date comes closer and the heat is raised up, the APC has again come up with thesame tactics of blackmail, spreading lies, violence ,propaganda and running away from the real issues. The APC handlers are not interested in presenting their candidate to face the people with his manifesto. How will the APC address the shortcomings of the present administration? What is he going to do beyond the fantastic promises of reducing school fees in the AAU and increasing the monthly subvention to 500m naira. This reminds one of APC promises of bringing down the prices of petrol to #25 per liter, making #1 equal to $1, free school feeding, etc. The question any discerning mind should ask is how far? At Least, in his engagements with stakeholders holders, the PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo, has outlined his plans to rescue AAU. What are the plans of the APC candidate?

They have come again with lies, propaganda, fake promises and violence, Let us sit back and ask them how they intend to govern the state. Can they sustain the civil service reforms? Are they telling us to throw away an Asue Ighodalo for someone that has refused to talk to us like Buhari? Edo State cannot afford to be taken 50 years backwards. The worst of the PDP is far better than the best of the APC. This is not just a saying but a fact.
