We remain united and strong for Asue-Ogie PDP, Asue Kitchen Group Reaffirms
…..says they have faith in the judiciary

A foremost Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) support group under the aegis of Asue Kitchen Group, has said that its members remain united, strong and will continue to support Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the PDP gubernatorial candidate until the mandate is recovered through the court.
The group stated this yesterday in Benin City during a protest match to the state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s INEC office in Benin City demanding for the return of their stolen votes by APC in collaboration with INEC and the Nigeria Police Force.
The group said they have faith in the Nigeria judiciary, describing the institution as a ‘citadel for justice seekers’. They further stated that the judiciary is a stabilising and balancing institution which strengthens democracy and enhances good governance.
While urging their supporters and all lovers of Asue-Ogie and good governance to remain calm, they said Asue Ighodalo and the PDP remained resolute in their commitment to retrieve the stolen mandate of the Edo people, noting that “by God’s grace, we shall triumph.”
Speaking earlier, a leader of the group from Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State, Comrade Osezele Itohan, said he led other members from his local government to the solidarity match to encourage the candidate not to relent in pursuance of the stolen mandate.
