Constituents from the five local governments in Edo Central Senatorial District have benefited from an empowerment programme facilitated by Senator Monday Okpebholo.
The initiative, aimed at combating poverty and fostering economic self-reliance.
The beneficiaries received Toyota corolla cars, motorbikes, sewing machines, generators and startup capital.
Senator Okpebholo reiterated his dedication to improving the living standards of his constituents till his last day at the Senate.
The Senator noted that the empowerment initiative would create new avenues for financial self-sufficiency.
The Senator encouraged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the empowerment resources for their economic power.
