The Road project in the College of Medicine,Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma, courtesy of the Member Representing Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun (KSC) has reached appreciable stage and more than fifty percent completed.
The Road which became deplorable due to lack of functional drainage system, is currently under construction with a drainage system which will serve as a useful flood control measure that will impact on the quality and durability of the road project.
The project, is part of the member’s Commitment to keeping to his promise to the School of Medicine and to ensure the welfare of students in the school takes centre stage with accessible roads and effective drainage system.
The project which is more than Fifty percent Completed will not only make it easier for students to commute within the school premises, it will also add to the aesthetics of the College of Medicine.
In a brief remark the Member avowed that: ” I am in politics and in the House of Representatives to write my name in gold, with people-oriented bills and motions, as well as facilitating infrastructure projects that will make up for the deficit in Infrastructure in my constituency”.
The People-centric Legislator restated his commitment towards ensuring the people in his constituency come first in all his dealings.
This Road project is one of the many projects Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun has embarked on in Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency since his inauguration into the 10th House of Representatives of the National Assembly.
