Hon. Prince Miracle Ogbebor has publicly declared his full support for Hon. Dr. Joseph Ikpea’s senatorial ambition, citing the support he received from Hon.Joseph Ikpea during his early days in politics.
Hon. Ogbebor, a former supervisor councillor and vice chairman of the economic team in Esan South East local government council, expressed his gratitude to Hon. Ikpea, who he referred to as his boss, for standing by him during his local government appointment.
Interestingly, Hon.Ogbebor clarified that he remains a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) but is willing to support Hon. Ikpea, who is running on a the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This decision is not surprising, given the complexities of Nigerian politics, where party affiliations can be fluid.
It’s worth noting that Hon. Dr. Joseph Ikpea has been gaining momentum in his senatorial bid, with some polls suggesting he has a significant lead over other aspirants. His experience as a former commissioner for minerals, oil, and gas in Edo State, as well as his commitment to empowering farmers, supporting youth entrepreneurship, and driving infrastructural development, have endeared him to many voters.
