Unrevealing The Mystery Surrounding Occult In Nigeria.
In recent past, we’ve been inundated with reports arising from ritual killings and assassinations that linked to occult activities in the country. This has prompted different investigative reports to unravel the mystery surrounding this phenomenon. There are different occult groups in Nigeria but the most popular ones are the ogboni, Asigidi and Osokpikan occult groups. Lots of people seem to have been familiar with the Ogboni cult group as some of their members are known. Little is known about the other groups mentioned above and this is why we have painstakingly investigated them especially the Osokpikan group which is known to be very dangerous, powerful and secretive.
Just like Ogboni cult, the Osokpikan cult which is known as Osokpikan society of Nigeria and also sometimes referred to as “Owegbe” literally translates to “THE STRONG GROUP”. This group is known for their powerful charms as many people believe they’re even deadlier than the Ogboni cult group. They pride themselves as the strongest in the country but their activities is highly shrouded in secrecy as most of their members are unknown.
From a reliable anonymous source, the Osokpikan society has eminent personalities from all works of life and in every profession. They’re in politics, military, police, civil service, and big entrepreneurs are also not left out because many of these individuals use charms gotten from the Osokpikan group to protect themselves and boost their fortunes in their different endeavours.
It was gathered that for one to become a member, he/she must pass through series of initiations rituals and oath taking. The oaths are said to be very sacred as members who go contrary to oath of allegiance are dealt with.
Further investigations also reveal that most members are made to vow during initiations that they will introduce more people to the group and this is why majority of the members have their children initiated into the group for protection and networking purposes.
With the spate of ritual killings and assassinations linked to these occult groups in Nigeria , it was unravel that defiant members of the Osokpikan group were faced with strong resistance and in some cases killed through assassinations, adoption or falsely imprisoned because they seem to have their members highly placed in the different arms of government.
Further reports also reveal that some estranged members who abandoned ship and were lucky to escape assassinations and false imprisonment, they always self exile themselves inorder to stay alive. According to reports, some members who as a result of repentance tried to renounce their membership has faced death as a penalty for breaking their sacred oath. Children and wards whose parents and guardians were members are either coerced to join or face a similar fate of their defiant forebears . This group has members all over the country and in some west African countries too. More investigations will be conducted about this group because a lot is yet to be known about this powerful and dreadful group.
