Traffic mgt: Esan West Local Government Council Boss assures EDSTMA of support, sue for strong collaboration with other govt., agencies.
EKPOMA – Earlier this week, *The Esan West council Boss Hon Friday Amiedamhen Idialu met with the EDO STATE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (EDSTMA) operating within Esan West LGA .
The purpose of the meeting was to synergize all government agencies within the LGA to collaborate with each other and produce the maximum results of what the agencies was established for.
While inspecting the GUARD OF HONOR, the council Boss charge the officers to be of good conduct, refrain from extortion and help out in the free flow of vehicles to decongest traffic on both major highways and interchangeable roads within the city center.
The commander of the guard appreciated the council Boss Hon Friday Amiedamhen Idialu for taking out time to meet with his personnel in other to form a formidable force to install decency amongst commuters in the LGA.
While highlighting some challenges faced by the officers, the commander also use the medium to call on the council to sensitize the public most importantly the okada riders and transporters to adhere to traffic rules and regulations.
