THE STATE EXCO OF APC PASSES A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON THE STATE CHAIRMAN, COL DAVID IMUSE RTD.
In a meeting of the State EXCO held at the party secretariat on the 22nd of May, 2023,the State executive Committee of the party passed a vote of implicit confidence on the State chairman, Col David Imuse Rtd for the stellar performance of the party in the just concluded elections.
The EXCO eulogised the uncommon leadership qualities of the State chairman which helped to decimate the other political parties in the state and gave the APC an unprecedented victory in a turbulent terrain of being an opposition party in the State.
While moving the motion, the chairman of the party in ikpoba Okha local government area, Mr osas imuentinyan ogbewe posited that, not for the uncommon leadership qualities of the State chairman, working closely with a well netted and selfless EXCO, the party wouldn’t have achieved these results which is adjudged to be the best by any State where the party is in opposition.
He went further to State that out of three Senatorial seats in the state, APC won two, of the nine seats of the House of Representatives, the party won six while the party won Eight of the twenty-four seats of the House of Assembly.
He commended the chairman for the air of peace and transparency that has pervaded the party and sues for it sustainability.
With the sound of unending ovation rendering the air, the motion was unanimously seconded by the chairman of Esan South east local government area chairman of the party, Elder Goddy Obainoke and consequently adopted by the entire EXCO.
The elated chairman while thanking the EXCO for the confidence reposed in him, stated that the party won’t have achieved these much, if the EXCO and the entire members of the party have not worked tirelessly in the hostile environment provided by the Obaseki led government in the state.
He therefore used the opportunity to solicit for the cooperation of the EXCO and the entire members of the party and reminded them that the ultimate task is to wrestle power from the PDP in the up coming Governorship election in 2024.
In his words,
“…this is a task that must be accomplished.”

Prince Peter Uwadiae Igbinigie.
