The Last Surviving Member of Umobuarie Igberaese Afan Group, Pa Ofino to be laid to rest on the 20th April in Ewu.

The burial ceremony of Pa Abraham Okoedo Ofino, the last Surviving Member of Umobuarie Igberaese Afan Group has been scheduled for the 20th day of April 2023 after a service of songs and funeral mass at the St Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church.

The obsequies poster sighted by Urban Scoop Media was posted on the official global Platform of Idunwele Sons and Daughters Association (ISDA).

Until his death, Pa Ofino was the second most eldest man of Idunwele Ewu community. He was an ardent Catholic faithful of the St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and a community leader of high repute.

According to Mr Ededeawalen Ofino, one of the children of the late Afan band member, he said “as elder of the Roman Catholic Church, my late father will be given a Christian burial after observing traditional rites on the 20th day of April, 2023”.
