THE IGNORANCE OF A PURPORTED TRIBAL SPIN CHAMPION:
ESAN AGENDA A TREE TAP-ROOTED ON EDO SOIL

An old adage reminds us that “one rope does not severe another”.
Another adage says what is good for the goose is also good for the gander and this is especially relevant in the wake of the recent article written by one *Daniel A.Noah Osa-Ogbegie Esq* which unfolded like a dramatic spectacle.
Before I proceed, it is important to emphasize that Daniel A.Noah Osa-Ogbegie Esq, like any other individual, has the right to exercise his fundamental rights of freedom of expression and association.
However, it is crucial that this exercise of rights does not become a precedent that disrupts the spirit of political equity in a democratic system.
Indeed, there is no gainsaying the fact that the issues *Daniel A.Naoh Osa-Ogbegie Esq* a political ally of POI disciples ironed are lucid and ripe for all and sundry to digest.
This, amongst other thoughts, has again taken the front burner of political discourse, given the fact that Edo State is at the centre of a sensitive decision making period with regards to the 2024 Governorship election.
However, I would not want to be miscalculated on my line of thoughts which is solidly hinged on the Esan Agenda.
Esan Agenda is a tree that is tap-rooted on Edo soil and sustained by the spirit of political equality; the next Governor of the state should come from the Esan extraction.
I want to appreciate your candid expression of the fact that you acknowledge how against all odds I gave my muscle to the backing of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the 2020 governorship election.
The reason is because I believe in the leadership of Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu (POI) and that believe has not changed either.
But, as it is, would it be bad if Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu aka POI gives his gallant support to any of the aspirants from Esan, bearing in mind that Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu (POI) has many friends and comrades in Esan land who possess the needed character and capacity and nurse his kind of vision for Edo State.
Will it be counterproductive if Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu POI, with his pedigree picks and projects a candidate from Edo Central?
While I have no personal rancour with Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the later being whom I always adolf my hat for,
I still maintain that rather than contesting, he should mentor a candidate from Edo Central to run for the 2024 governorship election.
This has nothing to do with peurile and primordial sentiments or perspectives, but a thought that is sustained by an agenda that embraces the good of Edo State in general.
Esan agenda is not narrowed to Esan’s interests as could have been erroneously taught, but an agenda built on purely the goodwill and the spirit of political equality in Edo State.
Let all know this fact: Esan Extraction for Governor Comes 2024 is an Edo project, predicated on the spirit of political equality.
