Suspected ritualists kill man, harvest his body parts
A yet-to-be-identified man has been found dead with some of his body parts missing in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
The spokesperson of the state police command, Olufumilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) at Oba-Ile Police Station and his men had visited the incident scene. The deceased body was found dumped around the Benin motor park area of the state.
She said the corpse had been checked and moved to the mortuary in the specialist hospital, Akure.
“Preliminary findings showed that the man was said to be a driver from Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo state,” she said
The police spokeswoman added that the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the state morgue.
