Sidney Emoyon Oseghale Foundation Sets To Host 2nd Edition Of Esan Central Unity Football Tournament

In a bid to promote peace, unity, and community development, the Sidney Emoyon Oseghale Foundation is set to host its 2nd edition of Esan Central Local Government Area unity football tournament which will be held at the different wards represented while the final match will be held at Eguare in Irrua. The soccer tournament, scheduled to take place from July 21-August 10, 2024, aims to bring together youths from the 10 wards of the local government.
According to the president and founder of the foundation, Engr. Sidney Emoyon Oseghale, the tournament, is designed to achieve several objectives.
1. To promote peace and unity in the community through sports.
2. Encourage teamwork and collaboration among participants.
3. To foster a sense of community and belonging amongst residents.
4. Lastly, to provide a platform for young people to showcase their talents.
The tournament is expected to be a vibrant display of soccer talent, teamwork, and community spirit. By bringing together the youths from the 10 wards of Esan central towards a common goal. The tournament would help to foster unity and oneness amongst each ward in the local government.
There are going to be cash prizes of N500,000.00 for 1st position, N300,000.00 for 2nd position, N200,000.00 for 3rd position, while all other participating teams go home with N50,000.00 each.
