Sen. Okpebholo visits Buhari
….describes ex- president as his role model

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the coming Edo governorship election, Senator Monday Okpebholo aka Akpakomiza, has paid a courtesy call on the former President of Nigeria, General Mohammadu Buhari ret. The APC candidate met with the former president in Daura over the weekend.
Senator Okpebholo praised President Buhari describing him as his role model. He thanked the president for the selfless services he rendered to the country. He said that Nigerians would have gladly given President Buhari a third term to continue his good works but for the limitation of term clause in the constitution . He promised to use the model used by president Buhari to govern Edo state if voted into power.
On his part, President Buhari thanked the candidate for the visit. He said that he has no doubt that Senator Monday Okpebholo will improve the living conditions of the people of Edo State just like the APC has done at the national level in the past 9 years.
