No doubts, this is yuletide season. A season of celebrations marking the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, and also preparatory to the new year celebration, 2025.
Apart from the festivities marking the season, the season can also be described as a season of political harvest for Hon Dr Joseph Ikpea as his Senatorial ambition gathers daily momentum due to the avalanche of supports received.
For almost two weeks running, it has been beehive of political activities, marked by political cross carpeting, open supports by different interest groups, collapsing of structure into Ikpea’s by aspirants across party divides; and declaration of support by party leaders and other critical stakeholders.
Like the youths will jokingly say in their usual gen-z parlance, Hon Dr Ikpea “dey get am clear, back to back!”
From what is visibly obtainable, the possibility of a consensus candidate in the person of Hon Dr Joseph Ikpea is most likely. Predicated on this, it is highly recommended with passionate appeal that other aspirants, if any; should save their resources time and energies and throw their weight behind Hon Dr Joseph Ikpea for Edo Central Senatorial bye-election 2025 as no fewer than three aspirants have done same thus far.
He is the man whose time has come.
He is the man for the rescue.
As Esan people, Ikpea should be our Focus.
