2024 is an important year in the political calendar of Edo state. It is the year Edolites will go to the polls to elect a candidate that will preside over the affairs of the Heartbeat State for the next four years. While the tedious and tortuous search for a suitable, credible, reliable and dependable person who can move Edo to higher levels of development and greatness is on, one name conspicuously and uniquely stands out like a palm tree among shrubs – Rt Hon. (Barr.) Deacon Sergius Ose Ogun. He is, no doubt , the safest and surest bet for the top job.
He is eminently qualified to occupy the coveted seat as he possesses the requisite academic, political, social and moral credentials needed to put Edo among the leagues of the most thriving sub-national entities in Nigeria. He is an icon of development, apostle of good governance, epitome of philanthropy, embodiment of peace, oasis of diligence, forte of honesty, citadel of transparency and reservoir of knowledge.
