Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun KSC Holds Town Hall meeting With Constituents In Esan West

The member Representing Esan Central, Esan West and Igueben Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun in an Enlarged meeting of all Esan West PDP Leaders across the Ten Wards in the local government area, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all the leaders for the warmth embrace and support that he has enjoyed since his entrance into the PDP.
Hon. Marcus welcomed the Leaders at various tiers of the Party’s structure at the local government level and commended their efforts on how they have helped sustain and managed the serenity of the party.
He went on to reel out his activities since he resumed office as a Member of the House of Representatives. According to him, his experience as a former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, came in very handy, as he was able to gather support from other members to elect the Leadership of the House and that of course has given him advantage in House. He went further to say that in addition to what memebers are getting as constituency development project, he has the advantage of getting more, because of his favourable relationship with the House Leadership.
Going forward, he reminded everyone of the fact that this is an election year and as a result of that, all hands must be on deck to deliver the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP.
He similarly assured the PDP Party Leaders that there is no need to fear or get discouraged that the election wind is blowing in the Party’s favour especially with the fact that the party got it right from the very beginning to put forward their best candidate. According to him, Dr. Asue Ighodalo is a sophisticated candidate with a global appeal and have the capacity to represent the interest of the people of Edo state both at the local and international level.
He urged everyone to be up and doing to work collectively for the Victory of Dr, Asue Ighodalo come September 21st, 2024. In his words he said “I will liken this season to the raining season and a good farmer will take advantage of this season to plant and wait for the time to harvest later during the harvest season, do well to sow now, so that when our candidate win, we will all feast together from the bountiful harvest “.
