Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun celebrates Governor Obaseki @ 67
The Member, Representing, Esan West, Esan Central, and Igueben Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Marcus Onobun ksc has facilitated with the governor of Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki on the occasion of his 67th birthday.
The Federal Legislator conveyed his warm felicitations to Governor Obaseki in a well penned-down statement this morning at his office in Abuja.
Rt.Hon. Marcus Onobun said Governor Obaseki’s contribution to the development in the State has left an indelible mark on the mindset of the people.

You are no doubt a sagacious and dynamic leader with enviable qualities that qualifies for a transformational leader. You have continued to lead the people of Edo state by example and I am resolute in submitting to your exemplary leadership”.

Today, the Edo state economy is considered the most stable in Nigeria, all thanks to your doggedness in implementing sweeping economic reforms that cut across education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, security, civil service, and environmental sustainability.
Your love for Edo state workers cannot be quantified as you have always given priority to their welfare and general well-being. At a time when the Federal Government is struggling to come up with a living wage for Nigerian workers, you took the Bull by the Horn to put smiles on the faces of Edo state workers by increasing the minimum wage of the state; Posterity will remember you for your selfless and people-centric policies”.
