The member representing Esan West Esan Central and Igueben federal constituency Rt. Hon Marcus Onobun has charged Councillors to be dedicated in discharging their responsibilities, emphasizing that they are the contact point
to people living in the grassroots.
The charge was made during working visits to Rt Hon Marcus Onobun by Councillors across the 18 Local Government.
Hon. Onobun expressed his gratitude to the Councillors for finding time to visit his office, while sharing his experiences as a federal lawmaker, he urged the Councillors to serve with integrity and selflessness noting that their performance today could influence future opportunities for advancement in leadership roles.
He concluded the interaction by wishing the Councillors a safe journey home at the end of their workshop.
The councillors led by the State’s Chairman, councillors Forum, Hon. Osas Iredia thanked the federal lawmaker and commended him for his developmental strides across the constituency. He conveyed in clear words the collective support of all the councillors for the lawmaker being the only and highest ranking PDP political office holder in the state to keep the PDP strong, indivisible, and indissoluble.
He also remarked on how he has been following the lawmaker from his entrance into politics and how he has watched him progressively navigate himself through the political turf and carved a niche for himself in Edo State politics.
