Right Foundation of Life Intl School, Celebrates Children’s Day in Grand Style
In line with the objective of the International Children’s Day Celebration, the management and learners of Right Foundation of Life International School, Benin city, Edo state, have joined millions of children and teens around the world to celebrate the 2024, Children’s Day, in the premises of the prestigious citadel of learning located opposite Rain oil fuel station, along Dr. Iyayi Efianayi road, Idunmwun-ehigie quarter, off Benin-Auchi expressway.
The children from KG, Primary and Secondary classes, held some cardboards with different inscription like “Happy Children’s Day”, “Right Foundation of Life International School, celebrates the 2024 children’s day in Grand Style”. The children also sang beautiful songs with melodious voices while others expressed messages to parents, kids and teens all over the world.
One of them who identified herself as favour said, “mom and dad at home, please remember to invest in your future through your children. God bless Right Foundation of Life International School. Happy Children’s Day to all kids and teens out there. I love you all’.
Another child, who identified herself as Dominion, took turn also to send her message to children and parents appealing to parents to show children love and care on this annual occasion, she said, “In Nigeria, children’s day is celebrated every May 27, parents show us love, celebrate with us, tell us how much you love and care for us. There’s nothing wrong in taking us out for shopping, above all give us sound and qualitative education. To all my fellow kids and teens out there, I will say happy children’s day to you all. I love you. She said.
In his response, the Director of the school, Austin Peter, who was elated, said the aim of the celebration is to create a joyful and supportive environment for children to thrive and reach their full potential. “Right Foundation of Life Int school will continue to show care and protection to lovely children”. He said.
The objective of Children’s Day celebration is to honor and recognize the importance of children in society, Promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide, support and advocate for children’s rights, welfare, and education, encourage children’s participation in social and cultural activities, foster a sense of belonging, inclusivity, and unity among children.
Further more, it’s to raise awareness about children’s issues, such as child labor, poverty, and education, celebrate the innocence, imagination, and creativity of childhood and strengthen family and community bonds with children.
